The “Bachelor of Engineering in Textile Technology - Textile Management” program at Reutlingen University consists of 8 academic semesters, with a compulsory internship during the fifth. The main objective of the engineering course is to combine innovative textile technology with the basics of business administration. In addition to the classic areas in the textile and clothing industry, students also explore applications in transport, medicine, technical textiles for high-performance materials, but also in international trade. Abitur, technical diploma or technical college entrance qualification must be presented upon application. Since the number of applicants is higher than there are university places, a local grade average is calculated. Graduates can occupy positions in the clothing industry, production management, automotive and supplier industry, product development, quality management and more.
