The four-semester full-time program “Master of Science in Business Informatics” at the Rheinische Fachhochschule Cologne is equivalent to 120 academic credits. The degree is a continuation of the bachelor stage, but professional experience of three years is also an admission prerequisite. Business administration and IT project management meet the scientific basics of the computer science and information security, as well a business analytics. Specialists will deal with matters concerning the smooth functioning of the IT department’s specific tasks and services and their use inside the company. During the studies, the closely integrated practical approach to the research evidence on the subject matter prepares students efficiently for implementing their academic studies directly into the real-life business environment. One practical semester is carried out in public administration, research institution, or a business company.
