The Master’s degree “Master of Laws in Compliance and Corporate Security” can be taken at RFK, Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln. It is a part of the study program list of the Department of Economics and Law. The requirements for admission are the completed Bachelor’s degree with 240 ECTS, and the approved first state examination in law, as well as one year of professional experience. Credit points can be neglected if longer professional experience is demonstrated. The degree is part-time, compatible with work and family life, lectures are taken throughout three semesters, on Fridays and Saturdays. A blended learning form is also at students’ disposition. Risk management and security have to be aware of the legal premises for effective corporate management. The European Security Academy, Netherlands, cooperates in the optional certification - Certified Protection Officer (CPO), or Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
