The degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Media Design” at the Rheinische Fachhochschule Cologne, known as RFH for short, builds on students’ creativity, enthusiasm, and the potential that arts have, to transform ideas into aesthetic projects. This course teaches how to develop concepts and ideas through technically masterful process into impactful media products. Artists with that degree are also highly-engaged in social matters of today, not only professionally, but morally and ethically. Forums, public campaigns, films, interfaces – all these designs both inform and influence public opinions, so careful consideration of the messages should be performed beforehand. The courses are developed both in a part and full-time form, for six or seven semesters. The teaching staff of academics with proven competence, as well as the tight cooperation with companies throughout the whole degree, grant quality to the course.
