Description
The “Bachelor of Engineering in Production Technology” degree at Rheinische Fachhochschule Cologne is a dual, job-integrated program, whose goal is primarily to correspond to the need for production engineers in the area of Eifel, Bergisches Land and Heisberg, above all, since there are concentrated a large number of medium-sized manufacturers. It is particularly suitable for people, who have already found a position in the companies and need to further develop their scientific knowledge, to be able to upgrade both their career plans and academic record. An engineering degree will give impetus to the development and self-confidence of the graduates, as well as benefit them economically. Materials science, CAD, technical mechanics are combined with production control and management, business basics and soft skills in the curriculum. The program continues for eight semesters, but lectures conveniently take place in the evenings.
