Description
The Rheinische Fachhochschule Cologne provides the bachelor’s degree “Bachelor of Science in Psychology”. It takes the form of a six-semester full-time, and seven-semester part-time program, and accumulates 180 credit points for its holders. Apart from having an extremely intriguing subject matter, study of psychology is becoming more and more employed in all spheres of economy, personal and social life. The scope of jobs to be done through obtaining a degree in the matter is increasing on a daily basis. The degree intends to answer practical application questions and needs of the specialists, so a methodology of statistical, scientific, empirical, evidence-based diagnostics, research and test-development will be provided throughout the course. The point of the studies is to objectivize to the maximum observations, whose interpretation is greatly individually subjectivised. Further specialization can be pursued in company, clinical, personnel, media, market psychology and psychotherapy.
