The Master’s degree “Master of Laws in Tax Law at the Rheinische Fachhochschule Cologne is designed as a part-time, complementing work contract program. During the course, current updated legal practices in Tax Law will be reviewed, and management skills acquired. The accredited Master of Law improves job prospects of graduates, who will be the future business lawyers or economists on the high-profile job market. In detail, students will acquaint with the following areas of knowledge: commercial and tax accounting law, general tax and procedural law, special tax law and international law, which will then be employed to carry out specific tax-related corporate activities in a professional and optimal manner. Knowledge of other disciplines, like logic and critical thinking, is also integrated, so even with scarce empirical data, specialists in tax law could make competent decisions in the processes. The whole course is held in German.
