The “Bachelor of Science in Forestry” program at the Rottenburg University of Applied Forest Sciences has a length of 7 semesters. The main aim of the program is to teach students sustainable forest management and the importance of forest preservation. The course curriculum includes Geoscientific basics, Wildlife management, Environment and society, GIS analyses and other subjects. A university entry qualification and work samples are part of the entry requirements. Some of the fields graduates can pursue careers in include state, municipal or private forest companies, forest service companies, the wood industry and more.
