The study program “Master of Science in Accounting and Auditing” offered at Ruhr University Bochum provides a full-time mono-master course with a duration of seven semesters. This program is targeted towards participants who would like to deepen their scientific knowledge of the various approaches through which the effectiveness of a given startup business could be increased. Methodological skills are an essential part of the course, as students are expected to contribute to current empirical researchers from the beginning of their studies. The Master program grants access to prospective students with an academic background in economics or law and who could provide proof of professional work experience in auditing. Nevertheless, the course also requires participants to complete a half a year internship program during their studies.
