The study program “Master of Science in Biochemistry” offered at Ruhr University Bochum provides a full-time mono-master course with a duration of four semesters. This program is targeted towards prospective students who wish to acquire comprehensive knowledge of the core molecular processes of life sciences. The strong practical focus of the Master’s program allows participants to deepen their expertise in their field of interest by contributing to ongoing scientific investigations in laboratory settings. Besides a relevant Bachelor degree, students are required to have completed practical work in a lab setting, amounting to at least 60 ECST. Participants are also given the opportunity to take part in exchange programs abroad at an accredited partner university.
