The study program “Master of Science in Biodiversity” offered at Ruhr University Bochum provides a full-time mono-master course with a duration of four semesters. This program is targeted towards prospective students who wish to expand their academic knowledge of the challenges that some biological varieties on the planet might face in today’s age of widespread changes in weather patterns. What makes the program compelling for prospective students is its particular focus on researching microscopic organisms and their importance when forming intricate ecosystems. Participants could specialize in one of the following areas: Biodiversity on All Levels; Taxonomy, Phylogeny and Classification or Functional Diversity and Diversity of Natural Systems.
