The study program “Master of Arts in Development-Management” offered at Ruhr University Bochum provides a full-time mono-master course with a duration of three semesters. This program is targeted towards prospective students with an educational background in social sciences who wish to gain academic knowledge of the necessary processes which a product or a campaign undergoes to meet the needs of the targeted audience. The Master program also discusses the development cooperation and technical assistance that developing countries receive and their effectiveness from a global perspective. Completing a three-month internship, as well as taking part in an exchange program abroad are both mandatory parts of the degree program. A precondition to starting the program is professional experience in the field.
