The study program “Master of Arts in Educational Science” offered at Ruhr University Bochum provides a full-time mono-master course with a duration of four semesters. This program is targeted towards prospective students with a related Bachelor degree in education who would like to acquire academic understandings of the types of challenges that working in a multiethnic environment entails. In addition, the Master program focuses on providing participants with the core processes of the teaching profession. Throughout their studies, students are provided with the opportunity to take an active role in discussing contemporary hot topics in the field, such as acquiring new knowledge in the age of digital media. Even though participating in exchange programs abroad is allowed, participants must take into account the set period in which it could be completed, i.e. before the beginning of the examination term.
