The study program “Master of Science in Electrical and Information Engineering” offered at Ruhr University Bochum provides a full-time mono-master course with a duration of four semesters. This program is targeted towards prospective students who have obtained a degree in engineering during their previous studies. The Master program aims to deepen students’ knowledge of the various approaches through which information could be preserved, transmitted and refined. Additionally, participants are encouraged to participate in ongoing scientific research with the purpose of developing automatized systems that would increase the manufacturing production of various goods. If upon starting the program, students lack the necessary academic expertise in natural sciences and statistics, they could choose to complete a preparatory course before the beginning of their studies.
