The study program “Master of Arts in Ethics – Economics, Law and Politics” offered at Ruhr University Bochum provides a full-time mono-master course with a duration of four semesters. This program is targeted towards participants with an academic background in one of the corresponding fields. The interdisciplinary approach of the Master program aims at the academic acquisition of both theoretical and practical understanding of developments in the field of economics, law and politics, from an ethical standpoint. It also enables students to acquire specialist knowledge in one of the following subdisciplines: “Poverty and Global Justice”, “Ethics of the Financial Markets and Responsibility of Banks”, “Ethic Aspects of Governance and Administration”, as well as “Climate and Energy Ethics”. Completing an internship at a related political or economic enterprise is optional.
