The study program “Master of Arts in History, Philosophy and Culture of Science” offered at Ruhr University Bochum provides a full-time mono-master course with a duration of four semesters. This program is targeted towards postgraduates with a Bachelor of Arts degree, primarily students of the Faculty of Philosophy. The program aims at providing participants with an academic understanding of the significance of science for the field of humanities. By examining it from a historical and philosophical perspective, students obtain essential knowledge about the role of various scientific practices in contemporary society. In addition, participants are given the possibility to participate in study abroad programs, as well as traineeship programs.
