The study program “Master of Arts in International Gender Studies” offered at Ruhr University Bochum provides a full-time mono-master course with a duration of four semesters. This degree programme is carried out within the framework of an interacademic project in which the Ruhr-Universität Bochum is involved together with the Karl Franzens University Graz and the Istanbul Üniversitesi. The Master program is suitable for prospective students from all academic disciplines who wish to obtain academic knowledge about gender identity and gender representation from an international perspective. Completion of an internship program at an accredited cultural institution is required. In addition, for participants to obtain a double degree, they must take part in a one-semester study abroad program with one of the partner universities.
