The study program “Master of Arts in International Humanitarian Action” offered at Ruhr University Bochum provides a full-time mono-master course with a duration of four semesters. This degree programme is carried out within the Network on Humanitarian Action (NOHA) in which the Ruhr-Universität Bochum is involved together with nine other European higher institutions. The Master program is suitable for postgraduates from all academic disciplines who wish to obtain academic knowledge about the core principles of working in the field of humanitarian action. Participants are allowed to obtain specialized knowledge in various subdisciplines and examine them from an international perspective. Additionally, participation in a five-month exchange program at a partner university is compulsory.
