The state examination program “Law” offered at Ruhr University Bochum provides a full-time course with a duration of ten semesters. This program is targeted towards participants who wish to build a career as criminal prosecutors, lawyers, judges, etc. The course provides students with a wide range of multidisciplinary knowledge related to the various rules enforced by governmental institutions to govern behaviour. Some of the major fields in which participants could acquire expertise are “Family, Assets, Processes”, “Labour & Social Affairs”, “Corporate & Competition”, and “Criminal Defence, Criminal Trial Law and Criminology”. Participation in an exchange program with a partner university abroad is advisable.
