The study program “Master of Science in Mathematics” offered at Ruhr University Bochum provides a full-time mono-master course with a duration of four semesters. This program is targeted towards prospective students with a relevant previous academic background. The wide range of specialist modules enables participants to further develop their expertise in the theories and methods of the respective subfield. Some of the majors offered are namely, “Algebra, Topology and Geometry”, “Stochastics, Statistics and Mathematical Physics”, “Differential Geometry and Dynamic Systems”, and “Complex Analysis and Geometry”. In addition, students are provided with the opportunity to contribute to current research in their field of interest by participating in study abroad programs with partner universities.
