The study program “Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering” offered at Ruhr University Bochum provides a full-time mono-master course with a duration of three semesters. This program is targeted towards prospective students with a previous academic degree in the field who wish to pursue employment in a related engineering subdiscipline. The Master’s program aims at the scientific acquisition of physical and mathematical principles to maintain mechanical systems. In addition, the program pays particular attention to the development of sustainable mechanisms for the environmentally friendly exploitation of heavy machinery in the future.
