Description
The study program “Master of Science in Molecular Science - Spectroscopy and Simulation” offered at Ruhr University Bochum provides a full-time mono-master course with a duration of four semesters. This program is targeted towards participants with a previous academic background in natural sciences. The multidisciplinary approach of the Master’s program aims at the scientific understanding of the various methods and processes of (bio-)chemistry on a molecular level. The program focuses on the empirical investigation of the following subfields: “Physical Chemistry”, “Quantum Chemistry”, “Biochemistry”, “Computational Chemistry”, and “Chemical Engineering”. A prerequisite to applying for this program is expertise in Quantum Mechanics, Quantum Chemistry, Spectroscopy and Mathematics. In addition, participants are required to complete a three-month internship program at an accredited scientific institution.
