Description
The study program “Bachelor of Laws in National and European Economic Law” offered at Ruhr University Bochum provides a full-time mono-bachelor course with a duration of six semesters. This program is targeted towards participants who are interested in gaining academic knowledge about the ways through which European legislation systems operate. The comparative approach of the Bachelor program allows students to further explore the similarities and differences between the legal systems of different European countries. The particular focus on German and French law systems provide participants with the possibility to scientifically investigate the impact that European law has on these nations by exploring the necessary legal texts. Participating in an exchange program, as well as doing an internship is required. After graduating from this program, students also receive the so-called ‘Licence en droit’ by the Université de Tours. Language proficiency in both German and French is, therefore, a prerequisite to starting this program.
