The study program “Master of Arts in National and European Economic Law” offered at Ruhr University Bochum provides a full-time mono-master course with a duration of four semesters. This program is suited for postgraduates of the related Bachelor’s program which the university offers. The comparative approach of the Master’s program aims to deepen participants’ knowledge of similarities and differences between the German and French legal systems. In addition, the complex relationships between the European Legal system and the legal systems of all sovereign states of the European Union play a central role in this study program. Completion of an internship, as well as participation in study abroad programs, is compulsory. As the program offers a bilingual teaching approach, students must provide proof of French language proficiency before the beginning of their studies.
