The study program „Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Economy and Society” offered at Ruhr University Bochum provides a full-time combined bachelor course with a duration of six semesters. This program is targeted towards participants who would like to either pursue a career path in the sphere of corporate consultancy and the public sector or those who wish to find employment in educational institutions. The aim of the Bachelor program is to encourage students to analytically investigate the different approaches through which a society is formed in terms of the economic and political patterns that contribute to its development. Participants could specialize in one of the following sub-disciplines, namely “Labour, Economic and Organisational Processes”, “Globalisation and International Relations”, “Policy Areas and Public Finances”, and “Socio-scientific Education”. Participating in a one-semester studying abroad program is highly recommended.
