The study program “Master of Education in Russian” offered at Ruhr University Bochum provides a full-time master course with a duration of four semesters. This program is an ideal continuation for postgraduates with a relevant Bachelor’s degree who are motivated to pursue a professional career as teachers of the Russian language The program is the final step that participants must complete before beginning their preparatory service at educational institutions. In addition to obtaining specialist knowledge of Russian Studies, participants are provided with the possibility to acquire extensive training in Russian linguistic practices which would prepare them for employment in the field. Students also receive comprehensive skills in regards to designing a teaching course that would meet the needs of a multilingual audience. Before applying for this program, students are required to provide proof of Russian language proficiency, amounting to B1 level.
