The study program “Bachelor of Science in Sports Science” offered at Ruhr University Bochum provides a full-time mono-bachelor course with a duration of six semesters. This program is targeted towards participants who are motivated to pursue a professional career in health centres, clubs and associations, etc. Besides providing knowledge about the fundamental insights of physical movement, the Bachelor program also aims to academically train students on how to organize and execute various sport events. Participants are allowed to deepen their knowledge of a particular subject matter by taking one of the core specialization modules. These include “Prevention and Rehabilitation Through Sport,” “Leisure – Health – Training,” “Sports Management” and “Practice and Diagnostics”.
