Schwyz University of Teacher Education, founded in 2013, is a public university seated in Goldau. Being a facility designed to provide teacher education, it offers the two Bachelor degree programs “Pre-Primary Level“ (Teaching Diploma/B.A. in Pre-Primary and Primary Education; subjects: Music and Rhythmics, Movement and Physical Education, Technical Design, Visual Design, Ethics and Religions) and “Primary Level“ (Teaching Diploma/B.A. in Primary Education; subjects: English and/or French, Movement and Physical Education, Music and Rhythmics, Textiles and Technical Design, Visual Design, Media and Computer Science). In terms of continuing education, Schwyz University of Teacher Education provides the training courses “School Management“ (CAS), “Theatre Education“ (CAS/MAS), as well as “Professional Development in Language Education“ (MAS).
