Sigmund Freud University Vienna, founded in 2005, is a private university seated in Vienna, Austria. It has further locations in Paris, Berlin, Mailand, Linz, and Ljubljana. The University accomodates four faculties: the Faculty of Psychotherapy Science, the Faculty of Psychology, the Faculty of Medicine, as well as the Faculty of Law. It currently has a total of 3,000 students enrolled in Bachelor/Baccalaureate, Master/Magister and doctoral programs as well as in continuing education university courses. Corresponding to the individual faculties, Sigmund Freud University Vienna offers the degree programs “Psychotherapy Science“ (B.A. pth./Mag.pth./Dr.scient.pth.), “Psychology“ (B.Sc./M.Sc./PhD), “Medicine“ (B.Sc. in Medical Sciences/Dr.med.univ.), as well as “Law“ (LL.B./LL.M.). Under certain conditions, studying at Sigmund Freud University Vienna is also possible without higher education entrance qualification.
