South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences, founded in 2002, is a public institution of higher education seated in Iserlohn, North Rhine-Westphalia. It has further locations in Hagen, Lüdenscheid, Meschede, and Soest. With more than 14,000 students, South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Germany. It provides round about 50 study programs in eight departments: the Department of Computer Science and Natural Sciences, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, the Department of Technical Business Administration, the Department of Engineering and Economics, the Department of Agricultural Science, the Department of Mechanical Engineering-Automation Engineering, and the Department of Energy Technology.
