The SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences, founded in 2002 and situated in Berlin, is a state-recognized university of popular arts in private ownership of SRH Holding. The private university provides educational training for professions within the culture and creativity industry to approximately 550 students. The scope of studies includes six Bachelor programs in the fields of design and media, music and sound, communicationa and media, as well as two Master programs (M.A.). The programs offered at Bachelor’s level are made up of the seven-semester degree courses “Media Management“, “Creative Industries Management“, “Music Production“, “Popular Music“ (B.Mus.), “Media Design“, and “Audio Design“. The Master programs include the consecutive four-semester degree course “Media Psychology“, and the three-semester continuing education program “Event Communication“. To commence studies at the SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences, proof of both university entrance qualification and artistic qualification is required.
