Medical Law is the area of law that deals with the legal relationships between doctors and patients, as well as among medical staff themselves. The main of objective of Medical Law is to establish the responsibilities of medical professionals and the rights of the patients. Medical law is very important in terms of establishing ethical standards and moral values in healthcare. Medical Law degree programs typically teach subjects like Introduction to Medical Basics, Constitutional and European Law Foundations of Medical Law, Medical Liability, Hospital Law, Medical Criminal Law, Tax Law of the Health Professions, Patient Safety, Quality and Professional Regulation in Healthcare Law and more.
