Description
Social Law is a branch of Public Law that deals with legal norms related to social risk areas such as disease, work, employment, income and death. Social Law gives rights to citizens who have claims for benefits like compensations due to reduced income or pensions due to old age, against certain social service providers, such as health insurance, pensions or employment agencies, for example. The most common subjects taught in Social Law degree programs include Civil Rights, Public Law, European Legal History, Civil Procedure, Commercial and Corporate Law, Social Law with Employment Law References, Public Financial Regulations and Tax Law, Social Administration and Legal Protection, Labor and Social Security Law, Law of Social Services and Facilities and more. The demand for qualified professionals in the field of Social Law is growing, because of the need for advice for people entitled to social benefits. Social Law graduates have excellent career prospects, which include jobs in social and public services, charitable organizations, hospital and care facilities, educational institutions, human resources, consultancy, social security, civil service, health insurance and other sectors.
