The seven-semester study program “Bachelor of Engineering in Climate Change Management & Engineering” offered by SRH University Heidelberg focus on the physical-climatological basics of climate change at the start of the first semester and blends this knowledge with engineering and economic foundations. The program will prepare students more firmly for their gained knowledge to be applicable in the private sector. At the conclusion of the curriculum, they will have a deeper understanding of control tools as well as practical action and impact possibilities. Distinguishing for the program is the fact that the first part of the study is taught in German, whereas form the third semester on the course is taught in English. Some of the topics that are discussed are energy technology, basics in business administration and statistics, resource efficiency, environmental law, etc. Graduates are qualified to work in the fields of energy management, project development, etc.
