The four-semester study program “Master of Arts in Dance and Movement Therapy” offered by SRH University Heidelberg provides an education, during which a rigorous internship phase is incorporated. Students will learn practical music instruction, psychological-medical expertise and scientific material, related to the field. They will be taught how to apply movement analysis and dance therapy approaches. Under the supervision of mentors, students will practice implementing knowledge and competencies they have gained in the campus outpatient clinic and throughout internships. Moreover, participants will be able to participate in a variety of research initiatives. Graduates can pursue an academic career or work in the fields of psychiatry, neurology, pediatrics, vocational rehabilitation institutions, etc.
