The seven-semester study program “Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy” offered by SRH University Heidelberg provides students after completion of the course of study with both a Bachelor of Science degree and recognition as state-approved physiotherapists. Students will learn how to encourage, preserve, or recover their patients’ health and undergo physiotherapy training. Moreover, they will obtain a scientific education that will prepare them for a career in academia. Students will master the physiotherapy methods in so-called skill labs before implementing them to patients. Furthermore, they will have the opportunity to set focus on subjects of their interests in the elective modules. Available to choose from are paediatrics, sports physiotherapy, health promotion and prevention. Graduates of the program are eligible to establish their own private practices. They can also work in rehab clinics, hospitals, sports clubs, etc.
