The four-semester study program “Master of Arts in Social Work: Psychosocial Counselling and Health promotion” offered by SRH University Heidelberg provides students with comprehensive knowledge in the fields of counselling and health promotion. Throughout the first year of the program, students gain basis understanding and then in the consequent year they focus on applying and reflecting on what they have acquired. There is also a practical phase, during which students have the chance to learn first-hand about counselling and health promotion and put it into practice. At the end of the course of study, participants will also conduct a study project in the area of either counselling or health promotion. The classes are in such a way designed, so as for students to be busy at the university Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Graduates are active in facility management, teaching and research, etc.
