The English-taught four-semester study program “Master of Engineering in Water Technology” offered by SRH University Heidelberg provides students with comprehensive knowledge about the main features of water technology. Some of the topics that will be addressed throughout the course of study are fresh water generation, home and industrial wastewater treatment, etc. During the classes not only technologies that have been built in water- rich nations will e discussed, but also the challenges as seawater desalination and hygiene solutions for developing countries. The program distinguished with great flexibility. First option is to choose the Master`s degree with incorporated internship after the first year. Second option for people with no educational engineering background – they can do a one – semester engineering course before starting the Master. Another possibility is working while studying, for max 20 hours a week. Graduates work in national and international water companies, research institutions, etc.
