The “Bachelor of Arts in Social Work” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. It is also offered as a part-time study, suitable for applicants who wish to balance out their careers, education, and private lives. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses with a focus on Professional Development, Science and Applied Research, Methods, Diagnostics and Inclusion Advice, Diversity and Internationalization, Public Health, and more. Additionally, students can align their education with their interests by taking up elective modules. Through various case studies and group projects, participants will acquire hands-on experience and key competencies. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume positions in child and youth services, school social work, prison service and probation, addiction counselling and prevention, etc.
