STH Basel, founded in 1970 as “Freie Evangelisch-Theologische Akademie“ (Free Academy of Protestant Theology), is a private institution of higher education seated in Riehen. On offer is a study program in Theology at Bachelor’s, Master’s, and doctoral level. Graduates of STH Basel obtain a B.Th., M.Th. or Dr. theol. degree. The program covers the following subjects: Old and New Testament, Historical Theology, Systematic Theology, Practical Theology, Philosophy, Religious Studies and Mission Studies, as well as Languages (Latin, Greek, Hebrew). Language courses are also offered as correspondence courses.
