“Automation Technology” is a Bachelor of Engineering study course, which is offered by the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau. Participants have the opportunity to study part-time with a duration of twelve semesters, or full-time, for seven semesters. The aim of the program is to provide students with fundamental knowledge of engineering science. They can choose between the following specializations: Microtechnical Application, and Machine Technology. The curriculum includes variety of lectures such as Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, where students will learn how to use complex automated systems. In addition, students who wish to deepen their knowledge can complete practical internship. Graduates of the course have a wide range of career prospects in medical technology, robotics and microelectronics, mechanical engineering and others.
