“Biosystems Engineering/Bioinformatics” is a Master of Science degree course which is provided by the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau. The duration of the program is four semesters, full-time, or part-time with a duration of eight semesters. In addition, students have the chance to choose between English and German language. It is practice-oriented discipline, where participants will deepen their scientific knowledge in engineering and natural sciences. The study plan includes the lectures Bioinformatics, Biosystems Engineering, Biotechnology, Microsystems Engineering, as well as trainings in laboratory. They will also specialize in one of the following areas: Biosystems Engineering, or Bioinformatics. Successful completion of the course leads to career in research institutions, or companies in the life science sector.
