The Technical University of Berlin is one of the 20 biggest as well as one of the oldest technical universities nationwide. Nearly 34,000 students are enrolled in 90 study programs at seven faculties. The faculties break down in Faculty I: Humanities, Faculty II: Mathematics and Natural Science, Faculty III: Process Sciences, Faculty IV: Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Faculty V: Mechanical Engineering and Transport Systems, Faculty VI: Planning – Building – Environment, and Faculty VII: Economis and Management. The scope of studies offered by the Technical University Berlin ranges from German-language Bachelor’s and Master’s programs through international, i.e. full or partial English-language Master’s programs to continuing education programs at Master’s level, as well as certification and doctoral programs. Individuals that have successfully completed an advanced training program or with completed vocational training and professional experience of at least three years are provided by the Technical University of Berlin with the opportunity of starting an undergraduate study program even without any higher education entrance qualification.
