The Technical University of Cologne, founded in 1971, is a public university seated in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia. It has further locations in Gummersbach, and Leverkusen. More than 25,000 students are enrolled at the University in around 90 Bachelor and Master degree courses. The Technical University of Cologne breaks down into eleven faculties: the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, the Faculty of Information Science and Communication Studies, the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law, the Faculty of Architecture, the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Technology, the Faculty of Information, Media and Electrical Engineering, the Faculty of Automotive Systems and Production, the Faculty of Process Engineering, Energy and Mechanical Systems, the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering Science, and the Faculty of Applied Natural Sciences. In addition to conventional full-time and part-time studies, the scope of course offerings also includes dual study programs and continuing education programs. Dual study courses offered by the Technical University of Cologne are “Civil Engineering“, “Energy and Building Technology“, “Pharmaceutical Chemistry“, “Technical Chemistry“, and “Insurance“. The scope of continuing education studies includes the courses “Behavioral Ethics, Economics and Psychology“, “Library and Information Science“, “Game Development and Research“, “Action-oriented Media Education – Playful Approaches in Media Youth Work“, “Insurance Law“, “Web Science“, and “Business Information Systems“. Depending on the respective program, graduates of the Technical University of Cologne receive a B.A., B.Sc., B.Eng., LL.B., M.A., M.Sc., M.Eng., and LL.M.
