The “Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering” course at the Technical University of Munich runs over six semesters. It introduces students to the fundamentals necessary to plan and maintain the construction of buildings, roads, dams, rail networks, and building pits. The purpose of the course is to familiarize students with the diverse subject matter of civil engineering. Students acquire a fundamental knowledge of engineering and the natural sciences and have a required internship for six weeks. Graduates can begin their careers in the real estate industry and transport companies, and public administration.
