The “Master of Science in Ecological Engineering” program at the Technical University of Munich concentrates on an ecosystem approach establishing linkages between land-use systems. The full-time or part-time course has a duration of four semesters and is conducted in German and English. The training offers three areas of specialization, ecosystems, methods and management, from which students choose and define the objective of their study. Students acquire numerous abilities to understand the societal requirements for sustainable management, analyze the various dimensions of human land, assess the impact of human activity and multiple other competencies. Graduates can begin their career in engineering and planning offices, Environmental advice in medium-sized and larger companies and associations and other possibilities.
