The full-time study course “Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Bioprocess Engineering” at the Technical University of Munich has a length of four semesters. It is consecutive of the undergraduate degree and deals with the natural and engineering aspects of innovative biotechnological and pharmaceutical production. The training focuses on molecular biology, bioprocesses and pharmaceutical technology. The curriculum incorporates the disciplines such as protein engineering, hygienic processing, pharmaceutical technology 2, bioreactors, bioreaction technology and process, and plant engineering. Graduates can enter the areas of biotechnological, chemical, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries, production, engineering and quality management.
