The program “Teaching Physical Education (additional subject/third subject)” at the Technical University of Munich has a length of seven semesters. The training aims to qualify participants in teaching sport as an additional subject. The course concentrates on personality development as a prospective teacher. Students develop abilities to plan, conduct and evaluate physical education in different types of schools and the associated teaching and learning processes. To apply, the candidates must be students or graduates of teacher training courses at grammar schools and secondary schools and complete the so-called basic and orientation test.
