The study course “Bachelor of Science in Technology of Biogenic Resources” at the Technical University of Munich lasts six semesters. The goal of the program is to prepare students for energy and process engineering as well as in plant biology and chemistry to turn technology into a sustainable foundation for research and business. The training offers an individual specialization through elective modules and the bachelor’s thesis. Students gain mathematical and scientific methods, basic engineering knowledge, knowledge of biogenic raw materials and multiple other competencies. Graduates receive a professional qualification and can start an occupation in the energy and chemical industries or research institutions.
