Offered by the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, the study course “Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering” has a total length of seven semesters. The bachelor degree is primarily oriented on the development, construction, technical equipment and operation of civil and military aircrafts. Throughout the study, participants have the opportunity to select from three major fields such as Maintenance, Propulsion and Engine Installation and Aircraft Design that include numerous subjects. During the semesters, prospective students learn subjects like Production Technology, Strategic Product Planning and CAD, Thermal Turbomachines, Aerodynamics as a preparatory internship is also included. Graduates can specialize in various career options for aviation engineers such as development, design and modelling, test and validation techniques, test engineering, aircraft certification, maintenance and repair services.
